Hamburg鈥檚 city centre is dotted with Christmas markets, the largest of which is located on Rathausmarkt Square. Against the mesmerising backdrop of historic City Hall, abundantly decorated stalls sell handmade toys, glassware, jewellery and a large variety of international delicacies. What鈥檚 more: Santa Claus regularly makes his appearance, hovering above the market in his sleigh.
