If both parts of the registration certificate need to be replaced, the replacement documents can only be issued once the procedure for issuing registration certificates Part I and Part II (calling up the registration certificates) has been completed.

Detailed description

If both parts of the registration certificate have to be replaced, the replacement documents can only be issued once the procedure for issuing the registration certificates Part I and Part II (display of the registration certificates) has been completed.

The loss of both documents can be summarized in the proof of the loss (theft notification, insurance in lieu of oath).

Incidentally, the services are:

  • Vehicle registration certificate or registration certificate Part I, replacement after damage, theft or loss
  • Motor vehicle letter or registration certificate Part II, replacement due to damage, theft or loss

to consider.

Please note

Appointment booking
Appointments are booked via the LBV. Please book a separate appointment for the registration certificate Part I and for the registration certificate Part II. Plan a time window of approx. 20 minutes between the appointments.

Proceed as follows for both appointments:
1. Visit the website for booking an appointment (see link below) and select the service theft of vehicle documents or loss of vehicle documents under the service group Admission, private customers.
2. Use the location selection to display appointments at a specific location.
3. After selecting the location, use the calendar displayed to select a free appointment (date and time).
4. Now enter your name and your e-mail address for booking.
5. You will receive an email. Please confirm the appointment.

Please bring the appointment confirmations that you will receive afterwards with you to the appointments.

QR codes for appointment confirmations can be scanned as long as the display of your mobile device is not cracked or otherwise damaged.
