Prerequisites
- Main or secondary residence in a resident parking area
- Application is possible from the age of 16
Documents required
- valid identity card or passport with current registration certificate
- the registration certificate part I(vehicle registration document)
Additionally in case of extension:
- the previous resident parking permit
Additionally when applying by power of attorney:
- Power of attorney in original
- legible color copy of the principal’s ID card
- Identity card of the authorized person
Additionally for company cars:
- upon request by the LBV: company car confirmation from the employer
Additionally, if the applicant is not the vehicle owner:
- upon request by the LBV: confirmation of use by the vehicle owner
Please note
- The resident parking permit does not secure a specific parking space, but only allows permanent parking in the resident parking zone in which you are registered.
- A resident parking permit can only be issued for a specific vehicle (license plate number is entered in the resident parking permit).
- If you use third-party vehicles, rental vehicles or company vehicles, you also have the option of applying for a resident parking permit. Rental vehicles and changing company vehicles must be clearly identifiable as such (name of the respective company).
- Your resident parking permit must be displayed visibly in your vehicle! A resident parking permit is also required for motorcycles. Resident parking permits cannot be applied for for trailers as they are not motor vehicles.

- Select the category: Resident parking
- Then select: New application / extension / change resident parking permit.
- Follow the steps to reserve an appointment.
- You will receive an email. Confirm your reserved appointment using the link in the email.
- You will receive an appointment confirmation. Bring this with you to your appointment.

Deadlines
The resident parking permit is limited to one year.
Extension of the resident parking permit
An extension is possible six weeks before the end of the validity period. If the resident parking permit has already expired, an extension is no longer possible. In this case, please apply for a new resident parking permit.
