Prerequisites

You have a legitimate interest in viewing the construction file, for example as

• Owner
• Authorized representative or agent
• Property manager

Documents required

• Your valid identity card, passport or other identification document
• if applicable, your registration certificate if the current address is not included on the identification document
• If applicable: Power of attorney from the landowner or administrator
  • A power of attorney is a power of attorney issued by the owner to a person appointed to manage the property. A power of attorney issued by the property management company is not sufficient.

From August 1, 2024, you will have the option of making an appointment online for the Eimsbüttel District Office using the "Book an appointment" button.
The activation of the online appointment scheduling for the other district offices is being clarified

Procedure

• You make an appointment with the responsible office in writing or by telephone and state which files you would like to inspect.
• You submit the required documents on the agreed date.
• If all requirements are met, you can inspect the construction file. If you wish, you can receive copies of the construction file for a fee.
• You pay the fees for inspection and, if necessary, for making copies.

Processing time

The waiting time for an appointment depends on the workload of the responsible office. You can view the file immediately at the time of the appointment.

Fees

For inspection per file 37.40 - 76.20 EUR, depending on the effort, plus costs for copies
