Detailed description
If you will soon no longer have a job, you must register as a job seeker. Registering as a job seeker is an important prerequisite for receiving support from the Employment Agency. By registering, you demonstrate that you will soon no longer have a job and are looking for a new one. The Employment Agency can then help you find a job.
You should register as a job seeker with the Employment Agency as early as possible if
- You were terminated,
- Your fixed-term employment contract expires,
- You have concluded a termination agreement with your employer,
- you are looking for work again after a long illness,
- Your schooling, vocational training or studies are coming to an end and you do not yet have a contract for a job or training position in sight,
- You want to return to work after a long period of raising children,
- You are doing an external training course and are subsequently threatened with unemployment,
- You are looking for work for other reasons.
