Prerequisites

• Submit an informal application to the responsible authority (in writing, in person or by telephone)
• Please provide your full first and last name, company name, address and tax number or identification number.
• State the purpose for which you need the certificate. Alternatively, the certificate can be obtained directly from the responsible authority in tax matters in procedures for obtaining a commercial license by the district office. In this case, you must declare in your application for a commercial license that the district office is obtaining the certificate and release the responsible authority from tax secrecy.

After your informal application, the certificate will be handed over or sent to you or your authorized representative. In the case of companies, the certificate will be handed over to the legal or contractually appointed representative (for example, managing director or board member).

If the certificate is obtained through the district office, it will be sent directly to the district office for the procedure for issuing a business license.
