Prerequisites

• The animals are geese, ducks, chickens or turkeys.
• You have kept the animals together for at least 7 days before the event.
• The event is a poultry market or poultry exhibition.
• They keep the prescribed number of chickens or turkeys kept together (see links for information).

Remark:


The keeping of ducks and geese together with chickens and turkeys must have existed for at least seven days before the event and must be reported immediately.




You need the confirmation before you can exhibit your ducks and geese at a poultry exhibition or poultry market without the required prior testing for avian influenza.

Procedure

You can advertise the joint keeping of your ducks and geese with chickens and turkeys for a poultry market or poultry exhibition in writing or via the online service.

If you would like to file the report informally:

• Describe your request and provide all necessary information.
• Submit all required documents.
• Send your notification by email or post to the responsible office.
• The responsible authority will examine your report.
• If you have any questions, the responsible department will contact you.
• You will receive a confirmation.

If you would like to place the ad via the online service:
You access the online service.
You fill out the notification form.
You upload all required documents.
Your report will be forwarded to the responsible authority.
The responsible authority will examine your report.
If you have any questions, the responsible department will contact you.
You will receive a confirmation.

Processing time

The processing time depends on the scope of the ad. Processing typically takes 1 to 3 weeks.
